7" iPad Coming Soon?

Now with Steve gone, will 7" iPad or smaller than the current 9.7" iPad comes into Apple's roadmap?
According to sources, Apple's LCD display manufacturer LG Display and AU Optronics have both submitted samples of smaller iPad display for approval. It was said that the approval was given by Apple and shipment could start as early as next year.

    I sure hope so. This female baby boomer wants something that I can carry with me in my purse and that has a keyboard/screen larger than the iphone's.
