Apple was reported by London Daily Mail to be keen on bidding for the next season's Barclays Premier League TV rights. BPL is the most watched football games throughout the world. It was reported that the bid could fetch approximately £3 billion.
Apple has previously provided streaming content of MLB, NBA and NHL through the Apple TV to US and Canada.
