Reported sometime back in July 2011, Casio was preparing to launch its smartphones compatible G-Shock Bluetooth Low Energy series GB-6900 which features Bluetooth 4.0.
Due to the recent Thailand flood, apparently the production was delayed. Latest info revealed that the G-Shock will be available in Japan starting from March 2012.
Some basic functions of the watch would be displaying incoming calls, read text messages, accept/reject calls and mostly simple functionality as the screen is too small for anything else.
