Blackberry releases Blackberry OS 7.1 yesterday in CES 2012 annual event. Download should be available starting from today.
Notable new features includes:
- Mobile Hotspot - works similar to your wireless router
- Blackberry Tag (NFC) - Near Field Communication functionalities
- Universal Search - just a search function which is already long available on the iOS or Android
- WiFi Calling - similar to Skype concept (wireless internet phone calling)
- FM Radio - enable Blackberry devices (Curve) which has built-in FM receivers
BBM has also been updated to version 6.1.
