Celcom is the first to bring LG Prada 3.0 to the Malaysian shore. Official RRP is RM2299. As this is literally a branded phone from Prada, you definitely need to pay premium for the brand.
With Celcom Exec 50 + Celcom Broadband mBasic plan, you will need to pay RM1868 for the device with the contract of 12 months. Data allocation is 1GB and the monthly commitment is RM88. With this, you get RM50 worth of calls and SMS.
Terms and condition states that if you sign-up for auto billing, you would get to enjoy 5% discount on monthly bill for every month. The rebate is depending on your usage per month which is good for high usage person. Take note that RM300 upfront payment is required for the earlier mentioned plan. A rebate of RM25 will be given for the next 12 months as a form of "upfront rebate".
So, the calculation goes like this:
- RM88 x 12 months = RM1056
- Device price = RM1868
- Upfront payment = RM300
- Upfront rebate RM25 x 12 months = RM300
Total package price = RM1056 + RM1868 = RM2924
Upfront payment when collecting the phone = RM1868 + RM300 = RM2168
Additionally for the first 100 customers, there will be a free Prada Bluetooth handsfree at selected outlets.
