Mac OSX 10.8 Mountain Lion - This Summer

Next on the Apple line-up is the update for the Mac OSX 10.8 Mountain Lion. It goes by the tagline "Inspired by iPad. Re-imagined for Mac". That would simply mean you will see more and more of iPad applications incorporated into the Mac OSX. To name a few - Message, Notification, Reminders, Game Center, AirPlay Mirroring, etc.

As a starter, Apple has released a beta version of the Message. Give it a try here.

This would be something similar in the past when Apple launches Snow Leopard as a major updates to Leopard. This time around, it would be Mountain Lion as the major updates to Lion.
