Angry Birds Official Store in China

First question that comes into my mind when seeing this news is.. WTF !?
Competing against the kings of fake in China with the official Angry Birds Store from Rovio. This is the first official store which opens in Shanghai recently and according to Rovio, they are expecting to open a total of 25 stores in China by end of this year.

How do you differentiate a original with a fake?

Angry Birds Space 10 million Downloads in 3 Days

Rovio's new addiction, Angry Birds Space clocks 10 million downloads in 3 days. That would go down as one of the greatest app launching ever.

Angry Birds Space is currently available in iOS, Android, Mac and Windows.

Angry Birds Sing.. Karaoke

I'm getting more and more speechless to what extend the Chinese creativity are. Featuring the latest karaoke sensation - Angry Birds Karaoke.
Chongqing city, somewhere in China, there is such karaoke with the angry birds theme. I'm pretty sure this is not official from Rovio. Just like how the Chinese did the Angry Birds Theme Park.

Official Angry Birds Theme Park - Espoo, Finland

Finnish playground maker Lappet's Managing Director, Juha Laakkonen told AFP that in collaboration with Rovio, they will be bringing the official Angry Birds Theme Park in Espoo, Finland by April 2012.

Why was it said that it will be official? In Changsha, China back in September 2011, a popular tourist spot named Windows of The World had already started something similar (refer to pictures above). But obviously that was not the official theme park version of Rovio.

Angry Birds Smashes Half A Billion Downloads!

Rovio the popular mobile game maker today announced that the Angry Birds family in total smashes half a billion downloads. This is an outstanding achievement ever made on a mobile game platform. The Angry Birds family includes Angry Birds, Angry Birds Season and Angry Birds Rio.

Angry Birds Hits 350 million Downloads

Rovio announces that the ever popular Angry Birds game now hits 350 million downloads since December 2009 launch. Gameplay is expected to be at 300 million minutes since then.
Apart from this, the company was noted they are selling 1 million plush toys and 1 million t-shirts a month. I guess this is by far the best record so far in mobile gaming platform.

Red bird is asking for £49.99 and the black bird and green pig are £69.99 each.

Angry Birds Season Celebrates Moon Cake Festival

One of the most important festival in Chinese calendar is the Mid-Autumn Festival or more known as Moon Cake Festival.

"The Mid-Autumn Festival is held on the 15th day of the eighth month in the Chinese calendar, which is in September or early October in the Gregorian calendar. It is a date that parallels theautumnal equinox of the solar calendar, when the moon is at its fullest and roundest.
