Apple Could Buy Over Goldman Sach With Its $76 billion Cash

With $76 billion cash equivalent, complete bought over of Goldman Sach is not a problem based on the latest quarter report of Apple. Apple reported a $7.31 billion net profit for the quarter. Another record breaking quarter result thanks to the iPad and iPhone sales. Revenue shot up 82 percent to $28.57 billion from $15.7 billion in the year-earlier period.

The Wall Street Journal's Dennis K. Berman on Twitter, "Apple now has $78 billion of cash in the bank*. That's worth more than all of Goldman Sachs, market value $65 billion."

Smart Cover Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1

History of suing each other between Samsung and Apple will never end I guess..
Previous lawsuit between each other seemed never ending between the iPhone and the Galaxy S families.
Now, up came another potential cries between the both with Anymode creating a much similar version of the Apple Smart Cover.

Now, what do you think it's going to happen? Nothing perhaps since there are already lots of Apple 3rd party Smart Covers widely available after the 1st week of the launch from Apple.
Sources says that none of the "Smart Covers" from Anymode were sold up to date as Samsung usually approves products which carries their Samsung trademark.
Would be interesting to hear what Steve Jobs has to say about this copycat issue!

Blackberry Bold 9900 aka Blackberry Bold Touch

Finally, it has been released officially by RIM.

Design looks pretty and it's the thinnest Blackberry so far.
One great thing is that it has a new OS7. I guess the guys in RIM thought that the new OS has much significant changes to call it OS6.1.

It is touchscreen as the name says it, and it also features NFC technology. The specification are as what was mentioned in the earlier post.

MyBook Studio Edition II - 6TB

When you think you have got enough.. now comes the new MyBook Studio Edition II from Western Digital which chucks up to 6TB worth of disk space.
It supports RAID and it's Mac compatible as well which means it could work with the Time Machine.
It is selling at $549.99.

In the package:
  • Dual drive Storage System
  • FireWire 800 cable
  • FireWire 800 to 400 cable
  • USB cable
  • AC adapter
  • Software CD
  • Quick Install Guide
The device comes with 4 ports: eSata, USB2.0, FireWire 800 and 400. Unfortunately, it does not support USB3.0 or the Thunderbolt. Default configuration was set to RAID0 but configurable to RAID1, which mirrors the other harddisk for extra protection.
WDC also ensures that the harddisk are easily replaceable if there are damages. Refer to the last picture, it seemed pretty much easy to replace if you ask me!

White iPhone4 to be available on 26th April?

Rumours started to come around again regarding the sales of the white iPhone 4 and this time there are info showing that on April 26th, it will be available.
Why don't Apple just scrapped the plan to sell the white iPhone 4 and concentrate to sell white iPhone 5 from day 1 after launch? iPhone 5 should be due for announcement probably in 2 months time.

Would anybody buy the white iPhone 4 or just wait for iPhone 5 instead?

Capacitive Home Button on iPod Touch?

Leaked news recently cropped up showing pictures of the new iPod Touch having a capacitive Home button as well as a 128GB version.
128GB version would be easily double of the current iPod Touch 2nd Gen of 64GB.

A capacitive home button also could be the door to the a new bezel design which would enable it to have gestures function similar to the Palm Pre.

All of these could also be a possibility of a master Photoshopping..
